5/25/26: The board is currently working on tournaments and pricing for the Fall 2026 Competitive Program. Registration will open in early June. Notifications will be sent via email and posted on social media once details have been finalized and registration is open.
2026 Fall Competitive Program
The Fall Competitive Program is a competitive program with limited rosters for the Fall 2026 season.
NOTE: ND State School Athletics rules state that middle school and high school athletes cannot participate in both school soccer competitions and club (GGFSC) soccer competitions/games at the same time, or they may forfeit their eligibility. This applies to our male athletes in the fall season.
IMPORTANT: Your athlete’s age group may change on August 1, 2026. US Soccer is moving from birth year age groups to school year age groups.
Athletes born between January 1 and July 31 will move up an age group. Athletes born between August 1 and December 31 will remain in the same age group as the summer season.
For example, during the summer season, all athletes born in 2012 were U14 and all athletes born in 2011 were U15. Under the new system, athletes born between August 1, 2011 and July 31, 2012 will be U15. Athletes born between August 1, 2012 and July 31, 2013 will be U14.

TEAM FORMATION & REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Registration deadline: XXXX
Teams will be formed based on enrollments in those specific age groups and priority of team formation is given to age groups (i.e. birth years) with the highest enrollments. Teams that form will have targeted, limited roster sizes.
Age groups may be combined and tryouts may be used to complete rosters. The final rosters will be determined by the Technical Director, Director of Programming, and the Fall Competitive coaching staff.
Tryout Dates, if needed: Tryouts will be held XXXX. Players should attend all 3 practices, if able, but at least 2 of the 3 to ensure a proper evaluation. Time TBD (based on coach discretion, the Technical Director and the Director of Programming). Families will be notified via email, no later than XXX, if their child’s team will have tryouts.
Signing up for this program does not guarantee a spot on a team or roster. If you are not selected for a team, there is a practice squad opportunity for you to participate in.
During the registration process you will be required to pay a $100 non-refundable deposit. If you choose to leave the program for any reason, you will forfeit your deposit. The deposit will go towards your registration fee.
When you register and are places on a team, you will be expected to pay the registration fee. Please check the tournament schedule below and verify that you will be able to attend all tournaments before signing up. Fees are due prior to XXX XX, 2026. If fees are not paid, your athlete(s) will be ineligible to participate in practices, games and tournaments.
For athletes in 6th grade or below, who also want to participate in our Fall Rec program, practices will be on days where you do not have Fall Rec. However, tournament dates are on weekends and may conflict with Fall Rec weekend games.
PRACTICES
Practice days are Mondays and Wednesdays and practice times will be set by the coach based on the coach and field availability.
Practices will begin August XX, 2026 and run through October XX, 2026, with Labor Day off.

Note: The Tournament Schedule is subject to change. In the event a team is not accepted into a tournament, GGFSC will do its best to find an alternate tournament for the team to participate in.
Stay & Play Requirements: Tournaments that have requirements of stay and play. Families will need to book hotels through the hotel links that will be provided to Teams through their coach/team manager. If teams do not meet this requirement by the tournament, teams risk being disqualified.
Hotel information will be available once teams are formed and tournament registrations have been completed.
OPTIONAL TOURNAMENTS
The Coach/Team Manager will connect with the team to decide whether to attend any optional tournaments.

Optional tournaments are subject to additional fees and fees are based on the size of your current team roster.
Optional tournaments can be attended if so desired by the team and coach. Please contact Katrina Landman at [email protected] for options after team formation and Team Manager assignments are complete.
COST
The cost will be $ for boys and girls, which will cover the two required tournaments, practices, and registration/insurance/fees. During the registration process you will be required to pay a $100 non-refundable* deposit. If you choose to leave the program for any reason, you will forfeit your deposit. The deposit will go towards your registration fee. If your athlete is placed on a team, you will be expected to pay the full program cost and to participate in both tournaments. By signing up, you agree to these terms. Failure to pay will affect your ability to play in this and in future GGFSC programs.
Fees are due prior to XXX XX, 2026. If fees are not paid, your athlete(s) will be ineligible to participate in practices, games and tournaments.
* If your athlete is not placed on a team, you will be refunded your $100 deposit and will not be charged any additional fees.

We will use the new GGFSC Competitive jerseys. If you are missing one or need a new set, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible to be assigned a number. You will then need to order through Signature Graphix in East Grand Forks, MN.
