2025 Fall Competitive Program
The Fall Competitive Program is a competitive program with limited * rosters for the Fall 2025 season.
* The limitations on age groups are in place for the boys as the Boys High School and Middle School seasons are taking place at the same time as the Fall Competitive Season.
NOTE: Be advised that ND State School Athletics stipulates that middle/high school athletes may train, but cannot participate in club (GGFSC) soccer competitions/games and school soccer programs at the same time, or they will forfeit their eligibility.
IMPORTANT: Your athlete's age group changes August 1, 2025. For example, if you were a U12 this summer during our competitive season, you are now considered a U13 for the Aug 2025 - July 2026 Season.

TEAM FORMATION & REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Registration deadline: July 6 by 11:59PM Central Time
Teams will be formed based on enrollments in those specific age groups and priority of team formation is given to age groups (i.e. birth years) with the highest enrollments. Teams that form will have targeted, limited roster sizes.
Age groups may be combined and tryouts may be used to complete rosters. The final rosters will be determined by the Director of Competitive Coaching and the Fall Competitive coaching staff.
Tryout Dates, if needed: Tryouts will be held July 14, 15 and 16th. Players should attend all 3 practices, if able, but at least 2 of the 3 to ensure a proper evaluation. Time TBD (based on coach discretion, Director of Coaching (DOC) and the GGFSC Board). Families will be notified via email, no later than July 9th, if their child’s team will have tryouts.
Signing up for this program does not guarantee a spot on a team or roster. If you are not selected for a team, there is a practice squad opportunity for you to participate in.
When you register, you are committing to participate in the season if placed on a team. You will be expected to pay the registration fee. Please check the tournament schedule below and verify that you will be able to attend all tournaments before signing up. Fees are due prior to August 1, 2025. If fees are not paid, your child(ren) will be ineligible to participate in practices, games and tournaments.
For athletes in 6th grade or below, who also want to participate in our Fall Rec program, practices will be on days where you do not have Fall Rec. However, tournament dates are on weekends and may conflict with Fall Rec weekend games.
Practice days are Monday & Wednesday with practice times being set by the coach based on coach and field availability.
PRACTICES

Practices will begin Monday, July 14 and run through Wednesday October 1, with Labor Day off.

Note: The Tournament Schedule is subject to change. In the event a team is not accepted into a tournament, GGFSC will do its best to find an alternate tournament for the team to participate in.
Stay & Play Requirements: Tournaments that have requirements of stay and play. Families will need to book hotels through the hotel links that will be provided to Teams through their coach/team manager. If teams do not meet this requirement by the tournament, teams risk being disqualified.
Hotel information will be available once teams are formed and tournament registrations have been completed.
OPTIONAL TOURNAMENTS
The Coach/Team Manager will connect with the team to decide whether to attend any optional tournaments. Teams will not be combined to make rosters work.

Optional tournaments are subject to additional fees and fees are based on the size of your current team roster.
Optional tournaments can be attended if so desired by the team and coach. Please contact Katrina Landman at [email protected] for options after team formation and Team Manager assignments are complete.
COST
The cost will be $385 for boys and girls, which will cover the two required tournaments, practices, and registration/insurance/fees. It will cost $0 to sign up now, however, if your athlete is placed on a team, you will be expected to pay the full program cost and to participate in both tournaments. No refunds will be given. By signing up, you agree to these terms. Failure to pay will affect your ability to play in this and in future GGFSC programs.
